Lagos police command shares the account of officers assisting a man during his wife’s childbirth (see photos)
Details have emerged of how the Lagos State Police Command's Rapid Response Squad (RRS) came to the aid of a man whose wife went into labour.
Early on Friday, April 17, at around 3 am in Ikoyi, the RRS operatives encountered the distressed man. He informed them of his predicament as he had no means of transporting his wife, who was in labour, to the hospital.
The security personnel promptly assisted in conveying the couple to a hospital in Obalende, where the woman successfully gave birth to a baby girl.
In a series of tweets, the police command stated:
