Why we cannot have a lockdown in our region- Northern Governors Forum

The Northern Governors' Forum has declared that a lockdown is not feasible in their states due to the predominant occupation of farming among the residents. There's a current Twitter trend under #PayUsViaBVN where Nigerians are calling on the President Buhari-led administration to utilize their BVN for direct disbursement of palliatives to their bank accounts.   Yesterday, on Monday, April 13th, the President announced a two-week extension of the lockdown in Lagos, Ogun, and the FCT. People urge the government to pay palliatives directly into their bank accounts using BVN
