Bar owner and his customers arrested for violating lockdown order in Lagos (photos)

The Lagos state police command Rapid Response Squad arrested a bar owner and his customers at the Isheri/Berger area for violating the state government's lockdown order on Friday, April 17th. The arrest was made as they were found to be operating the bar in defiance of the lockdown measures. The bar owner, however, claimed that he was only preparing nkwobi. The remains of Abba Kyari, the former Chief of Staff to President Buhari, have been brought to the Defence House in Abuja for burial. Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, stated that Kyari will be laid to rest following the guidelines set by the NCDC and the Federal Ministry of Health for the burial of Coronavirus patients.
