Having aided the Nigerian national team in securing Bronze at the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, Odion Ighalo has made it clear that he will not reverse his 2019 decision to retire from the Super Eagles.
He explained that the emergence of Lille's Victor Osimhen, who inherited his number nine jersey, and Villarreal's Samuel Chukwueze serve as strong reasons for his absence from the team, making it unlikely for him to reconsider his retirement decision.
