China Approves Two Coronavirus Vaccines for Human Trials
China has given the green light for the human trial of two Coronavirus vaccines as part of its efforts to curb the spread of the disease within the country.
According to state-owned news agency Xinhua, the Chinese Government has approved the two experimental vaccines developed by a Beijing-based unit of Sinovac Biotech and the Wuhan Institute of Biological Products, which is affiliated with the state-owned China National Pharmaceutical Group. The government aims to commence human testing of the vaccines following successful animal trials.
