22 ExxonMobil Workers Detained by Rivers Government Released
The detained ExxonMobil workers, who were arrested for violating a lockdown order issued by Governor Nyesom Wike, have been released by the Rivers state government.
These workers, who were detained at the state isolation centre at Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt, were arrested upon their arrival in Rivers state from Akwa Ibom.
Professor Zaccheus Adangor, the Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice of Rivers State, stated that the oil workers were released without any charges following the intervention of well-meaning Nigerians.
