Study: Virus Stays Airborne in Crowded Areas

A recent study has indicated that in crowded spaces or poorly ventilated rooms, Coronavirus can linger in the air.   Carried out at two hospitals in Wuhan, China, and published in the journal Nature Research on Monday, April 27, the study found that Covid-19 can spread through tiny airborne particles known as aerosols.     The researchers discovered traces of the virus' genetic material in crowded indoor areas, in the air of hospital toilets, and in rooms where medical staff remove their protective gear.   The World Health Organization, which previously debated the risk of airborne transmission and limited it to specific circumstances, mentioned that their analysis of over 75,000 cases in China showed no airborne transmission.   Scientists noted that humans produce t...
