Mohammed, the son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has successfully recovered from COVID-19 upon testing negative for the novel virus twice.   Atiku Abubakar's confirmatory negative test result was released this afternoon, and he announced that he will soon be discharged from the Abuja Isolation center.   Mohammed was diagnosed with the virus on March 19th and was subsequently transferred to an isolation center on the outskirts of Abuja.

One dead as building collapses in Ibadan

The unfortunate event of a building collapse in Ibadan on Sunday, April 27, has resulted in the loss of one life. The incident took place at Onipasan area, behind Oluyoro Hospital, Ibadan, and the victim was the wife of the building's owner. The deceased has already been laid to rest, and the rescue team from Ibadan North East Local Government handled the removal of the body from the scene. Olugbenga Fadeyi, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the state Police Command, confirmed the incident, stating that the woman died as a result of the building collapse. He revealed, "Yes, there was a building collapse yesterday. It is under Agugu area. The building collapsed and the woman died. It was the wife of the Alhaji that owns the house. She has since been buried."

Kidnappers demand N30 million ransom for abducted Ekiti commissioner
