The Game, a Rapper, Loses Control of Record Label and Royalties from “Born 2 Rap” to Sexual Assault Accuser
Loss of ownership of his record label and royalties from his latest album "Born 2 Rap" has occurred to American rapper, The Game in a $7 million sexual assault lawsuit.
Priscilla Rainey, a former reality dating show contestant, leveled sexual assault allegations against The Game in 2015, during the taping of his VH1 reality show “She’s Got Game.” She filed a $10 million lawsuit, which he ignored, resulting in a court order to pay $7.13 million in damages.
Despite denying the allegations, The Game did not take the trial seriously, leading to the $7.13 million judgment.
Ever since, the rapper has been contesting the decision not to pay Rainey.
