Accusations Fly as American Mother Claims Halima Abubakar Used Her Baby’s Photo

An American mother, who recently welcomed a baby, has accused Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar of using her baby photo to announce the birth of her own child.   Halima Abubakar had previously shared a photo of a mother holding her child, claiming it was from the birth of her baby on April 3, 2020.     However, the original owner of the photo, an American mother with the username @the_arielb, had shared it on Instagram on March 13, 2020. She called out the actress for stealing the photos, which had gone viral.     She also shared screenshots of her private chat with Halima Abubakar.

Two suspected cultists arrested in Ogun for allegedly killing OPC member in front of his pregnant wife

Confirming the spread, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 22 new cases of Coronavirus in Lagos, Abuja, Edo, and Bauchi.   As of 09:00 pm on April 8, Nigeria has reported a total of 276 confirmed cases of Coronavirus. The Kano State Government has issued a ban on satellite TV channel Arewa24 from airing two popular Drama TV series, citing alleged violations of the state's laws. The series in question, Kwana Casa'in and Gidan Badamasi, enjoyed a strong following among the Hausa movie enthusiasts. Kwana Casa'in was banned due to its depiction of a lady being held by men inside a tricycle, while Gidan Badamasi was banned for being uncensored and unlicensed.
