#Lagosunrest trends for the third time as Lagos residents are robbed by hoodlums again just after Coronavirus lockdown extension (videos)
The hashtag #Lagosunrest has trended for the third time within a span of three days as Lagos residents reported incidents of robbery by suspected cultists and hoodlums just a few hours after President Buhari extended the Coronavirus lockdown in the state.
The affected areas included Gowon Estate, Ejigbo, Igando, and Ikotun, among others. Despite the lockdown order, residents in these communities expressed distress over the attacks and highlighted the lack of visible police presence during the incidents.
Videos shared on various social media platforms depicted the gravity of the situation, with little to no sign of police intervention. The series of tweets and videos posted online shed light on the alarming situation and sought to draw attention to the urgent need for security measures.
