Good news: 10 COVID-19 patients set to leave Osun Isolation center

Following two consecutive negative tests for the virus, 10 COVID-19 patients are ready to be discharged from the Ejigbo Isolation Center.   In an evening tweet, the state governor, Gboyega Oyetola, shared the uplifting news. "I am happy to inform you today that 10 of the 17 patients at our Ejigbo facility have tested negative twice for the virus in line with the National Centre for Disease Control protocol, and will soon be released to join their families and live their normal lives."

The city of Kano has reported its inaugural case of the Coronavirus. The announcement was made by Salihu Yakasai, the Director General of Media and Communications for the Kano State Government.
