The governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma, receives negative COVID-19 test result
Hope Uzodinma, the governor of Imo state, has tested negative for the Coronavirus.
A statement released by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba, on Monday morning, April 13, confirmed that the test conducted on the governor to check for the coronavirus disease returned a negative result, which was received today.
"The governor of Imo state, Dist Sen Hope Uzodimma, has tested negative for the Coronavirus infection. The result of a test conducted on him came out this morning and confirmed that he is free of the virus," the statement reads.
Imo state has no confirmed cases of COVID-19.
