The business complex, which is usually a buzz of business activities, has been closed for almost four weeks to curb the spread of Coronavirus. This means that businessmen have been away from their shops for weeks and were not available to salvage any of their goods when the fire broke out. Most of them were only made aware of the disaster on Monday morning. Shops and goods were destroyed in the fire that has since been brought under control. The cause of the fire has not been revealed.
