The Birth of a Zonkey: A Zebra's Unusual Offspring with a Donkey (with Photos) Kenya's wildlife organization recently announced the birth of a "Zonkey" after its mother, a zebra, mated with a donkey.   The zebra strayed outside the Tsavo East National Park and formed a bond with a donkey in a nearby community. “Huddah Monroe Dismisses Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 List Containing DJ Cuppy, Swanky Jerry, Patoranking, and Mr Eazi as ‘Bulshit list'”

According to Kenyan socialite Huddah Monroe, the individuals who made it to the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 list are not deserving of this recognition.   The former Big Brother Africa contestant expressed her disapproval of the Forbes 30 Under 30 class of 2020 on her Instagram Stories.   Some of the notable figures on the list include DJ Cuppy, Patoranking, Mr Eazi, Swanky Jerry, and others.     Huddah Monroe mentioned that she used to aspire to be featured in Forbes until she came across the "bulshit list" they recently released.   She further added that the recognition from Forbes is now primarily based on "connections" rather than "hard work."   View her comments below.

The Federal Ministry of Education has dismissed claims it has directed schools to reopen immediately.   Recall that schools all over the Federation were asked to shut down in March due to the Coronavirus pandemic. A circular has been making the rounds on social media with claims that the Ministry is asking schools to resume immediate.   Reacting to this development, the Director of Press in the Ministry, Ben Goong, said no such directive was given by the Minister, Adamu Adamu. Police arrest 150 suspects for armed robbery and cultism

150 suspects have been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command in connection to the robberies, burglaries and cult violence in some parts of the state.   The suspects were arrested after residents of  Owode, Ilepa, Ifo, Arigbajo, Itori, Dalemo, Ijoko Joju, Sango, Ota in Ifo, Agbado-Ijaiye, among other communities in Ifo and Ado-Odo/Ota Local  Government Areas of Ogun state, alerted the police of the attacks.    Ogun state Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson linked the attacks to seven rival cult groups. Tragic Incident in Delta State: Man Fatally Attacked over Cow Dispute

Confirming the tragic event, the Delta State Police Command has verified the killing of 28-year-old Austin Nwaeke, who was reportedly attacked by suspected Fulani herdsmen.   Nwaeke was allegedly murdered over a cow's killing in Albert Camp, a farming settlement primarily inhabited by migrant farmers and artisans in the hilly suburbs of Oshimili South council, Delta State.   Providing an account of the incident, the deceased's widow stated:   “I ran out of the house and saw my husband dead in front of the door."   The Nation, in its report, stated that Police spokesperson Onome Onowakpoyeya confirmed the incident and also revealed that a manhunt has been initiated to apprehend the perpetrators.

Ex-Togolese Prime Minister, Edem Kodjo is dead

The news of the passing of former Togolese Prime Minister and diplomat, Edem Kodjo, at the age of 82 has been confirmed. Serving as the prime minister of Togo from 1994 to 1996 and from 2005 to 2006, under the leadership of former president Gnassingbe Eyadema, he passed away in Paris on Saturday, April 11.
