In the recent days, Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, revealed that Nigeria's electricity generation has surged to 4,800 megawatts, up from 4,200MW.
This announcement was made on Thursday during his visit to Ajah, Lagos State, to inaugurate a 63MVA, 132/33kV mobile substation established as part of Phase 1 of the Presidential Power Initiative, a collaboration between FGN Power Company and Siemens Energy.
