The Oyo State Police have apprehended a 50-year-old schoolteacher who was impersonating an Assistant Superintendent of Police. A level 14 school teacher, Adebisi Ayodele, serving as an assistant headmaster in a school in Ogun State, was arrested by the Special Oyo Police Operation Squad. The arrest took place on Sunday, August 21, 2022, along Asejire road, Egbeda Local Government in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State. The police recovered two unexpended canisters from the suspect. During questioning, the suspect admitted to impersonating the police for 13 years and confessed that his passion for the police job led him into the act.
