The operation was conducted in collaboration with the Area A Command and focused on targeting suspected criminals in Obalende, Adeniji, and Lagos Island.

The suspects apprehended in the operation have been handed over to the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Unit for further investigation and prosecution, as per the statement. Additionally, RRS Commander CSP Shola Jejeloye has directed an expansion of operational coverage to include areas like Lekki, Jakande Roundabout, and V.G.C.

This strategic move is intended to bolster the patrol efforts along the Lekki-Epe Expressway and address issues of miscreants causing disturbances for motorists on the highway. This expansion aligns with the agency’s commitment to combating criminal elements and ensuring public safety.

Earlier in April, PUNCH Online reported a similar operation where RRS operatives arrested 43 suspects in Oshodi and its surroundings, underscoring the agency’s ongoing efforts to maintain law and order in the state.
