Opening of Kari-Care Marks the Start of Operations with Plans to Train 2 Million Nigerians

Essentially, Kari-care Technology Limited, a multi-billion naira company specializing in the sales and services of quality electrical equipment, is set to commence training for technicians in Nigeria. The objective is to ensure they provide world-class services to Nigerians and diminish time and money wastage in procuring electrical materials for home and office use.

During the official launch of the company in Victoria Island, Lagos, the Chief executive officer of Kari-care Nigeria Limited, Eng. Daere Akobo, revealed the company’s ambition to not only sell quality products but also train millions of technicians in Electrical, mechanical, and plumbing business. Akobo lamented the harm caused by incompetent technicians, leading to fire outbreaks and injuries. Consequently, Kari Care plans to train technicians in these fields to contribute to the rebuilding of the nation’s workforce and reduce the prevalence of quack technicians.

Akobo also called for the federal government to modify the nation’s education curriculum to include technical schools and institutes for training artisans and unskilled workers to promote national development.

Furthermore, Kari-Care aims to create employment opportunities, with a vision to create a minimum of 4000 jobs for both young and old, directly and indirectly through the firm. The company’s ultimate goal is to enhance the workforce and reduce the unemployment rate by recruiting over two million people and training them to ensure a higher standard of service in the building industry.

The mode of operation revolves around four central points, as explained by Miss Wamide Egunjobi, the General Manager, Operation, Kari-care Nigeria Limited. This includes Technician services, Product E-Commerce place, Turnkey building through improvement solution at experience Centre, and Skill improvement training Centre. The Experience Centre allows customers to directly interact with Kari-care executives and products, while the Skills Improvement Training Centre will soon commence training sessions for numerous technicians.

In addition, Kari Care plans to launch its website for an E-commerce centre to facilitate convenient ordering of quality materials for construction or rehabilitation purposes. The company’s aim is to establish an ecosystem for fulfilling all building improvement and maintenance needs while providing a platform to hire trained, certified, and reliable local technicians.

Moreover, Kari-care offers a software system that can calculate the quantity of electric materials needed for a particular structure, adding to the efficiency and convenience of their services.
