Before her demise at the age of 72, the celebrated Nigerian singer and actress Onyeka Onwenu delivered her last performance at the birthday celebration of Mrs. Stella Okoli.
Reports indicate that she passed away on a Tuesday night at the Reddington Hospital in Lagos, shortly after collapsing at Mrs. Stella Okoli’s birthday party.
An eyewitness who was present at the event confirmed the unfortunate incident to TheNiche.
Recalling the moment, the eyewitness shared, “It is a tragic occurrence. Onyeka Onwenu had just concluded her performance at Mrs. Stella Okoli’s birthday gathering today (Tuesday, July 30, 2024), only to collapse afterward.”
