Old Mutual Nigeria has introduced an electronic channel to ensure continuous and convenient access to insurance benefits for its customers, amidst the business lockdowns enforced to combat the rapid spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria.

The Nigerian subsidiary of Old Mutual Limited, a pan-African insurance firm and global financial services provider, has announced the launch of an e-claims channel that allows policyholders to make claims through its digital and mobile-friendly e-commerce web portal, ensuring uninterrupted access to the benefits of insurance during the lockdown.

This initiative aligns with the company’s commitment to delivering accessible, swift, convenient, affordable, and exceptional customer-service inspired insurance services to Nigerian customers.

Customers can now easily initiate a claim by visiting the website www.oldmutual.com.ng, clicking on the ‘Make a Claim’ button, filling the form with relevant details, and selecting “Claim” from the drop-down menu. This streamlined process ensures that the customer’s claim will be processed and paid within 48 hours. Additionally, customers can make other requests such as part-withdrawals on their Savings Policy or surrenders as required.
