Nigeria’s Odion Ighalo has advised Super Eagles’ Victor Osimhen to maintain his composure after an intense Instagram criticism directed towards former coach Finidi George.
Osimhen was absent from Nigeria’s recent World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic as he was recovering from an injury.
During an Instagram live session over the weekend, Osimhen publicly expressed his disillusionment with Finidi, citing unconfirmed reports implying that the former Enyimba manager had doubts about his dedication to the national team.
Despite attempts by friends, fans, and colleagues to calm him down, Osimhen seemed visibly agitated.
One of the individuals who tried to intervene was ex-Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo.
Offering his advice to Osimhen, Ighalo commented, saying, “Boy, stay calm and stop the live stream.”
However, Osimhen stood firm, asserting his fearless and mature stance.
