When Manchester United return from the winter break, Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo will be sporting the number 25 jersey as he is set to make his debut against Chelsea.
The club recently revealed his new jersey number in a video on its official Twitter handle and encouraged fans to purchase the new jersey, which is now available in the club’s shop.
The number 25 shirt has been vacant since full back Antonio Valencia left the Red Devils last summer.
Former Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua player, Ighalo, who is a lifelong Manchester United fan, is set to earn N62m weekly at the club. He was signed on loan for 6 months for a fee of £3m.
