Former American President, Barack Obama, has revealed his list of favorite music of 2023, featuring four Nigerian songs. The songs that made the list are ‘Unavailable’ by Davido featuring Musa Keys, ‘Amapiano’ by Asake featuring Olamide, ‘Me & U’ by Tems, and ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’ by Burna Boy featuring 21 Savage.
The list also includes ‘Water’ by South African singer Tyla. Obama’s list cuts across various music genres such as Latino, pop, Afrobeats, Hip-hop, Grime, Reggaeton, Reggae, Dancehall, R&B, and Soul, showcasing music from around the world.
Sharing the list on his X handle, Obama wrote, “Here are some of my favorite songs from this year. Let me know if there are any artists or songs I should check out.”
