To ensure maximum security during the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebrations, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Jigawa State Command, has deployed a total of three thousand personnel.
In a statement released to NewsNow, ASC Badruddeen Tijjani Mahmud, the spokesperson for the command, revealed that the deployed personnel are sourced from various departments and units, including Rapid Response, Special Armed Squad, Counter Terrorism, CNAI, Intelligence, Anti-Vandal, CBRNE, Operations, Disaster, and Medical units.
The deployment will encompass all public areas in the state such as government institutions and installations, shopping centers, Eid grounds, durbar routes, places of worship, palaces, and motor parks.
State Commandant Muhammad Danjuma (CC) has urged the general populace to abide by the rule of law, collaborate with the security personnel, and promptly report any suspicious activities to the nearest security outpost.
