Novak Djokovic Scheduled to Make Comeback at ATP Tour in Dubai Following Deportation from Australia

Novak Djokovic is poised to make his return to the ATP Tour at the upcoming Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championships after facing deportation from Australia due to his unvaccinated status against Covid-19.

The World No 1 has been listed for the Dubai event, commencing on February 21, marking his first appearance since the deportation incident which occurred ahead of the Australian Open earlier this month.

Since his return to Serbia, the 34-year-old has not made any public statements but has been spotted on a trip to Montenegro.

While vaccination is not required for participants in the Dubai event, Djokovic’s unvaccinated status may limit his playing opportunities, potentially causing him to miss major events like Indian Wells and Miami in March.
