Nigerian Twitter users took personal offense to a tweet by American singer Justin Skye and flooded her timeline with responses.
Skye’s tweet read: “I don’t believe a word that comes out of a man’s mouth.”
Her tweet garnered numerous replies, predominantly from Nigerian users.
Several individuals tagged Nigerian rapper Ycee and attributed Skye’s lack of trust in men to him, as he had been publicly interacting with her on Twitter, prompting responses from Nigerians as well.
