The Nigerian government has announced that students from Nigeria will not participate in the upcoming West African Examination Council (WAEC) examinations. This was disclosed by Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, following the virtual Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday, July 8. He also mentioned that there is currently no set date for school resumption and expressed a preference for Nigerian students to lose an academic year rather than be exposed to danger.
