Nigerian Students at LASU Pledge to Pursue Justice for Slain Final Year Student, Favour Daley-Oladele

The Southwest (Zone D) chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has pledged to ensure that justice is served in the brutal murder of Favour Daley-Oladele, a 22-year-old final year Theatre Arts student at Lagos State University (LASU).

Daley-Oladele was tragically killed by her boyfriend, who, along with his mother, dismembered her body parts, and then cooked and consumed them as part of a grotesque ritual to make money.

This heinous crime took place in early December in Ikoyi-Ile, Ikire, Osun state, 270 km away from the victim’s school. In her memory, LASU students held a candlelight procession on Monday, December 30th to mourn her untimely death.

NANS has vowed to pursue this matter to its rightful resolution and has committed to “informing the public of our actions and discoveries in due course.”
