Nigerian scammer nabbed in London over immigration scam
An alleged Nigerian scammer was nabbed yesterday in North Greenwich, London, for allegedly defrauding and extorting money from illegal immigrants in the United Kingdom.
According to Nigerian radio presenter, Olayomi Koiki, the accused disguised as an immigration officer in order to be able to extort money from Nigerians and other illegal immigrants without any hindrance.
The man was nabbed today outside a building in London by one of his victims (an immigrant), who dragged him right in public and refused to let go as the elderly man tried to fight back.
No further details were given as to the current condition of the accused.
