Nigerian lady narrates how her 'superhero' mother became successful after running away from her abusive father and stepmother

The incredible journey of a Nigerian woman who escaped an abusive household and went on to achieve great success is being shared by her daughter. The mother joined the Nigerian army at 16 and after retiring, persevered to acquire GCE, attend the University of Lagos, and lead the outpatient pharmacy at Lagos University Teaching Hospital. She later made the bold choice to relocate her family to Canada for better educational opportunities. In Canada, she had to rebuild her career as a pharmacist, demonstrating resilience and determination in her pursuit of success.
