A Nigerian woman was apprehended by authorities after declining to return N950k that was mistakenly transferred to her account by an individual. The incident was captured in a video and shared on social media by Ex-beauty Queen Cassandra, who explained that her cousin, a doctor, unintentionally transferred N950k to the woman, who had initially requested N95k. The woman, after receiving the money, blocked the individual on Instagram, erased all her photos, and ignored his calls. She was eventually found drinking at the beach with friends, leading to her arrest. The woman admitted to moving the money to another account before her account was frozen. During interrogation, she claimed that she used the money, which she believed was payment for a sexual encounter with the doctor, to pay her rent. Images and videos related to the incident were also shared on Instagram.
