Nigerian clubs get CAF deadline on players’ registration


The Confederation of Africa Football, CAF, has issued a deadline to clubs participating in the 2024-25 Inter-Club competitions.

Africa soccer’s governing body has given clubs until Tuesday, July 16, to complete the registration of players for the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup.

CAF stated that there will be no extension for player registration.

Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Rangers and Remo Stars will participate in the CAF Champions League next season.

President Federation Cup winners El-Kanemi Warriors alongside Enyimba will play in the CAF confederation Cup.

The preliminary round of the competition is expected to take place next month.
