Nigerian Air Force eliminates 100 terrorists while police save kidnap victims in Katsina

100 terrorists were targeted and killed by the Nigerian Air Force Operation Hadarin Daji in Faskari LGA, Katsina State, in a strike aimed at a criminal group associated with Yusuf Yellow and Rabe Imani.

The nighttime airstrikes resulted in the destruction of 45 motorcycles as confirmed by Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State.

This marks the third successful air raid by NAF in the Faskari-Kankara region, effectively disrupting recent terrorist activities.

In response to a kidnapping report in Jibia LGA, Katsina State, security forces swiftly intervened early on Sunday morning.

According to a reliable police source, the distress call came at approximately 4:15 am from residents in the Kwata area of Jibia LGA.

A police patrol team led by a Superintendent promptly engaged the armed bandits who had abducted three women and a six-month-old baby.

Efficiently blocking the kidnappers’ escape path, the patrol team engaged in a firefight that forced the perpetrators to retreat, resulting in the safe rescue of all victims.

Among the individuals rescued were Ummulkhari Abubakar (23), Shafa’atu Abubakar (35), Maryam Lawal (15), and Ismail Usman, the six-month-old baby boy.
