Uche Ogbodo, together with other actors, have strongly criticized a man who openly confessed to committing rape and expressed his plan to continue doing so.
A Facebook user with the username G Love Udenso left a comment on a post advocating against rape, stating that he will persist in raping women and that there will be no repercussions. He further suggested that women should make it easier for men by not wearing too much underwear.
He wrote: “I will continue to rape. Nothing will happen. Ladies, please assist us a little. Don’t wear panties or wear them sparsely. It’s a waste of time, please. Thank you.”
This incited strong reactions from Facebook users, leading them to publicly condemn his actions.
Uche Ogbodo took a stand and criticized him on Instagram. Other actresses such as Mary Remmy Njoku, Victoria Inyama, and Yvonne Jegede also expressed their condemnation.
Yvonne Jegede pledged to take action to ensure his arrest.
