Nigeria needs China's help in tackling insecurity – Gbajabiamila

The appeal for assistance in addressing insecurity from Chinese authorities was made by House of Representatives Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila on Tuesday February 18. Gbajabiamila requested for military support to combat the country’s ongoing security challenges during a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Mr Zhou Pingjian in Abuja. He stated, “Our biggest problem right now is the issue of insecurity, and we’ll be happy to get help now from wherever we can. So, in terms of military ties, we’ll be happy to get help from you at this time.” Pingjian affirmed China’s commitment to supporting Nigeria in achieving its objectives.
