Niger seeks synergy with National Assembly Commission to enhance performance


Niger State House of Assembly has called for synergy between it and the National Assembly Service Commission to assist in strengthening the state body in its bid to enhance performance to the people of the state.

The Chairman of the State Assembly Service Commission, Abdullahi Mohammed Dzwafu made this appeal when he led members on a courtesy visit to the National Assembly Service Commission in Abuja.

He noted that as the main umbrella body, the National Assembly Service Commission needs to support and synergize with all state Houses of Assembly Service Commission to ensure optimal performance.

According to him, ” We were inaugurated in November 2023 . We decided to come for the visit to compare notes and acquire more knowledge and understanding of the rules for effective performance”.

Responding, the Executive Chairman of the National Commission, Ahmed Kadi Amshi through the Commissioner, South West, Akamo Hakeem Olabode, commended the members of the Niger Assembly for the visit to brainstorm on issues affecting their smooth performance of the system.

” It is a pleasure to receive members of the Niger State Assembly Service Commission in Abuja for a 3 days workshop to improve their knowledge on how to ensure effective service delivery within the legislative arm of government”.
