Funso Doherty, a former contestant for the governorship position under the Action Democratic Congress (ADC) in Lagos State, has officially announced his departure from the party to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a statement shared on his verified social media page, Doherty confirmed the move, citing thorough consultations as the basis for his decision.
Expressing his stance, he stated, “Having engaged in extensive consultations, I have opted to step down from the ADC and align with the PDP. With a humble spirit and an awareness of the obstacles and chances that lie ahead, I eagerly anticipate collaborating to develop the Lagos of our aspirations.”
