The colorful event was hosted by Dubai-based entrepreneur and Creative Director, Julie Jules, who ensured that guests were at ease and immersed in the Julie Jules luxury bag brand experience.
The Julie Jules brand, named after its visionary founder, captivated the audience with the inspiring brand story behind the product.
The product offers a limited edition with a variety of 16 beautiful colors in medium and large sizes. According to Julie, the defining feature of the bag line is its wood clasp opening made of the finest Beech Wood refined through 21 procedures. Describing the intricacies of the production, she emphasized, “The wood is beech wood, strong and moldable. It can withstand any weather, and the leather is eco-leather. It is soft to the touch and available in different colors. The wood undergoes twenty-one stages before decorating a bag. It can be colored in any desired shade.”
Elaborating further, she stated, “Julie Jules is handmade and organic. It exudes its own distinctive charm. It is crafted with beech wood. I have a fondness for wood and decided to incorporate it into bags. This bag is designed for every woman who appreciates quality and wants to feel good about herself. Not every woman can afford a $5,000 or $10,000 bag. We have seen designer bags that are unattractive while unbranded bags look delightful. Julie’s Jules is for every woman who seeks quality, every woman who truly wants to look good.”
Attending the high-society event were distinguished guests including celebrities and business executives. Some notable attendees were actress Cynthia Shalom, advertising guru Lanre Oyegbola, business executive Olu Adegoke, serial entrepreneur Olumide Mabawnku, and media and communication expert Tunde Praise, among many others.
Expressing her satisfaction with the reception, the host, who had last visited Nigeria 15 years ago, was greatly impressed. “I’m happy. I wasn’t sure how today would turn out, but it’s going well, not bad at all.”
Julie Jules is already envisioning long-term plans. “I aim to make it big. I want to create something for men in the future. For now, this is what I have. I have other plans as well, but I can’t unveil all my ideas at once. I want to see how this venture goes first. When I return to Dubai, where I reside, I intend to travel to Spain and Italy because I’m in talks with some manufacturers to explore the possibilities before the year ends,” she explained.
