Netizens React as Igwe Credo Calls Out Kcee for Lack of Compensation for Ojapiano

The owner of the Oja Piano Sound, Igwe Credo, has expressed his grievances against Kcee and his brother E-Money for not adequately compensating him for the use of his sound in Kcee’s viral music. In a recent interview, Igwe Credo revealed that he had only received a total of 500,000 Naira in payment.

Igwe Credo explained that while he was accommodated by Kcee and his team in a hotel, he and his crew had to cover their own meals and transportation expenses with their own money. Although Kcee had initially given them 200,000 Naira and promised additional funds, these funds were never delivered.

In addition to the lack of financial compensation, Igwe Credo mentioned that Kcee had promised to provide him with clothes, but these clothes were never received. He also shared that some people, including members of Kcee’s crew, advised him to focus on creating his own music and becoming successful rather than waiting for royalties from Kcee.

However, Igwe Credo’s main request to Kcee was not for monetary gain. He expressed a desire for publicity and fame, hoping that Kcee would help him gain exposure and recognition to further his music career. Unfortunately, Kcee did not fulfill this request and instead advised him to pay the bloggers himself, despite Igwe Credo not having the necessary funds.

Igwe Credo’s frustration stems from his belief that he has not been adequately compensated for Kcee’s use of his Oja Piano Sound, which gained international attention and generated substantial income for Kcee.
