Following a resolution approved during Tuesday’s plenary session, the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has been directed by the House of Representatives to suspend the introduction of the new electricity tariff.
The motion was prompted by pressing public concerns and was proposed by Nkemkanma Kama, a legislator representing the Labour Party (LP) from Enonyi State.
