The wreckage of the Tara Air plane that crashed in Nepal’s mountainous Mustang district has been recovered and 22 bodies have been found. The Canadian-built plane was carrying four Indians, two Germans, and 13 Nepali passengers, as well as a three-member Nepali crew. The bodies were scattered over a 100-meter radius from the main impact point. Rescuers have also retrieved the black box from the crash site. The aircraft met with an accident after hitting a nearby cliff, and the faces of all the victims are recognizable. The plane had crashed at Thasang-2 in Mustang district at an altitude of 14,500 feet. The bodies have been taken to Kathmandu and to the base camp from where the rescue operation is being coordinated.
