NCC seeks input from various groups on updated telecom regulations

Embracing its responsibilities as outlined in the Nigerian Communications Act 2003, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has introduced a collection of draft regulatory documents on its official website.

This action invites stakeholders to collaborate and share their perspectives to influence the future of telecommunications in Nigeria.

Each contribution adds to the journey of progress, creating a mosaic of innovation and inclusivity that ensures all voices play a part in the development of top-notch regulations.

Dr. Reuben Muoka, the Director of Public Affairs, presented a draft of regulations aimed at refining the telecommunications sector.

He emphasized the significant changes that elevate these regulations into a realm of innovation.

Prior to the scheduled meetings on May 21 and May 22, 2024, it was stated:

“You are invited to share your thoughts at the NCC Head Office in the esteemed Maitama District of Abuja, FCT. Let your insights enrich the discussion on public-interest issues.

“Your input is invaluable in shaping the future through constructive dialogue and collaboration. We eagerly anticipate your submissions before the deadline of May 10, 2024.

“All contributions are encouraged and can be shared with the Executive Vice Chairman at the NCC headquarters in Abuja. Together, let’s foster innovation and partnership in this initiative!

“Active engagement and positive feedback are crucial in molding the promising future of Nigeria’s telecom industry. This environment encourages transformation, turning challenges into opportunities and dreams into reality.”

Imagine a vibrant marketplace where every idea is cherished and where collaboration leads to progress. Here, stakeholders, from leaders in the industry to consumers, partake in a symphony of ideas guided by the collective wisdom of the community.

This cooperative mindset creates a fertile ground for change, where obstacles are seen as chances for growth, and aspirations become tangible achievements.

Together, let’s pave a future where connectivity is limitless, communication transcends boundaries, and the telecom sector serves as a source of empowerment and prosperity for all Nigerians.”
