NBA extends best wishes to Muslim legal practitioners and advocates for peace in Nigeria

The Nigerian Bar Association, in a statement released on Wednesday, emphasized the importance of every Nigerian playing a role in national progress by fostering a peaceful environment as the global community celebrates Eid-el-Fitr.

Expressing his views, Mr. Yakubu Maikyau (SAN), the President of NBA, delivered this message through the National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Habeeb Lawal, in Lagos.

During this time of Eid, Maikyau encouraged Muslims to offer prayers for peace in the nation.

Highlighting that Eid signifies the conclusion of the fasting period for Muslims, the president urged adherents to not overlook the essential teachings observed during this period.

“The NBA President and the National Executive Committee of the NBA send warm wishes to the Muslim Ummah, especially Muslim legal practitioners and members of the Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria.

“This Eid marks a meaningful celebration, and the valuable lessons of perseverance, discipline, generosity, sacrifice, piety, and humility observed in Ramadan must remain with us beyond this sacred month.

“May these values guide us to become better individuals, dedicated professionals, and more patriotic citizens as we contribute towards a more prosperous and harmonious Nigeria.

“Eid Mubarak”, he conveyed.
