Victor Osimhen, the forward for Napoli, has expressed his wish to leave the Serie A side, as confirmed by Giovanni Manna, a director within the club.
Manna suggests that Osimhen could have departed from the former Italian titleholders during the previous summer transfer window.
However, concrete offers for Osimhen to exit Napoli have not materialized this summer.
“The player, Victor Osimhen, has indicated his desire to exit the team. He is keen on moving on,” stated Manna.
“The scenario is straightforward; there were opportunities for his departure last summer. Victor is inclined to depart. The situation will evolve in the forthcoming 20 days,” Manna added.
Napoli has already finalized an agreement with Chelsea’s forward, Romelu Lukaku, as Osimhen’s prospective replacement for the upcoming season.
