Media personality, Nnamdi Nwabasili, popularly known as N6, has expressed disagreement with those appealing for mercy towards Funke Akindele following her arrest.
Today, the actress and her husband, JJC Skillz, appeared in court and pleaded guilty after Funke defied the Coronavirus lockdown to throw a party for her husband.
This prompted Nigerians to take to Instagram and Twitter, requesting the authorities to show mercy to the beloved actress.
While Daddy Freeze acknowledged Funke’s mistake and her subsequent apology, asking the authorities to “temper justice with mercy”, N6 held a different perspective. He emphasized that Funke “must face” this “punishment” for “contravening the law” and as “an ambassador” should “have known better”.
Expressing his love for Funke, JJC, and everyone involved, N6 highlighted that their actions put people at risk, and criticized JJC for going on Instagram Live a day after “to jeer at people”.
