The mother of Owolabi Adeeko, who killed and consumed the body parts of Favour Daley-Oladele, a final year Theatre Arts student of the Lagos State University, has come forward with her version of events.
Mrs. Bola Adeeko, a school decorator, explained that she sought the assistance of Pastor Segun Philip to pray for the hardships her family was facing. After a short session with the pastor, she was given a soap to bathe with and instructed to return to her hotel room, where she would be served food.
The suspect’s mother revealed that she was unaware that the soap she used and the local dish she consumed were made with human body parts. In a viral video, Mrs. Adeeko expressed her disappointment, stating that her son had betrayed her trust despite starting the “journey” together.
