A mother who branded her 2-year-old daughter as a prostitute and physically abused her after the child was sexually assaulted by a man has been located. The woman displayed no remorse and reacted aggressively to individuals who attempted to discuss her daughter’s welfare. The mother, who claimed to be educated and asserted her disapproval of their involvement, also resisted when they tried to remove her children from her custody.
Due to the lack of willing caregivers, the children were taken to a police station, but the individual who brought attention to the rape victim’s ordeal stated that the police may have to return the children to their mother as they cannot keep them indefinitely. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to apprehend the perpetrator known as Baba Kekere, who is now on the run.
According to Abiodun, who shared the story, Baba Kekere had raped the 2-year-old girl multiple times while the girl’s mother was aware but did not take any action against the rapist. Instead, she blamed her daughter for seeking out the perpetrator. The abuse came to light when the mother beat her 2-year-old daughter after discovering Baba Kekere raping her at night, resulting in the child sustaining a blood clot in her eye. This incident led to inquiries into the matter.
