Mother charged after baby hit head and died when she gave birth unexpectedly

The unexpected childbirth in Rome has led to a tragic outcome, with a 30-year-old woman being charged with involuntary manslaughter after her baby hit its head and died. According to reports, the woman, who is a Swedish national, stated that she was unaware of her pregnancy until she went into labor. She claimed that the baby fell on the floor while still attached to the umbilical cord, and her mother discovered them and called emergency services. Paramedics arriving at the scene found both women in a room covered in blood. Despite being rushed to Bambino Gesu Hospital in Vatican City, the baby succumbed to injuries two days later.
