Omowunmi, the wife of the late singer Mohbad, has publicly refuted allegations made by her sister Karimot that her deceased husband had been transmitting sexually transmitted diseases to her.
Karimot leveled these accusations while criticizing Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, for requesting a DNA test for his grandson, Liam.
In response, Omowunmi took to her social media platform to dismiss her sister’s assertions, clarifying that she never mentioned that Mohbad had infected her with any STD.
Additionally, in a detailed Instagram story post, she also dispelled rumors about Mohbad’s involvement in any secretive cult or drug-related activities.
“I have never personally claimed that my husband gave me STDs, was part of a cult, used drugs, or that he was abusive towards me.
While I appreciate the concern and support from everyone wishing to defend Liam and me, I am willing to face any blame, pressure, or accusations myself. Unfortunately, my husband is unable to defend himself.
Even in his passing, I hold deep love and respect for him. I kindly urge those who care for me to honor his memory,” part of her statement expressed.
